The Spirit: Our Comforter and Counselor<\/h5>\n

The Holy Spirit is often called the Comforter\u2014One who walks with us, bringing God\u2019s love close and making it real. When shame tries to isolate us, the Spirit reminds us that we are not alone.<\/p>\n

Paul writes, \u201cYou did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. Shame wants us to see ourselves as outsiders\u2014unworthy, rejected, unlovable. But the Holy Spirit assures us of our place at the table. Through Him, we are adopted as God\u2019s daughters, fully accepted and delighted in.<\/p>\n

Instead of striving to earn approval, the Spirit teaches us to rest in God\u2019s love. Even when old voices of shame echo in our minds, the Spirit gently reminds us: You belong here. You are loved.<\/p>\n

The Spirit Heals Shame\u2019s Wounds<\/h5>\n

The Spirit doesn\u2019t just inform us\u2014we are transformed from within. He brings healing to wounds that words or achievements can\u2019t reach. He replaces shame\u2019s voice of condemnation with the truth of God\u2019s Word:<\/p>\n
