Fear has a loud voice.
It wakes you at 3 a.m. with a list. It whispers that the worst thing is the most likely thing. It tells you that you’re alone, that it won’t get better, that you should have seen it coming. And the more you listen, the bigger it grows.
But fear is a liar. It always has been.
The truth is quieter, and it’s stronger:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7, BSB)
Power. Love. A sound mind. That’s what’s actually yours. Fear is loud, but it doesn’t get the last word — not over a child of God.
You won’t quiet anxiety by trying harder to stop being afraid. You quiet it by filling the room with something truer. One promise at a time, you learn to answer the lie out loud.
That’s the whole point of the book below — a simple, biblical plan to slow anxious thoughts and live in more of God’s love.
